At the end of January 2006, Cassy set out for a long journey to Belgium, to the Of Maranns Home breeding kennels. On 29 January, Cassy was impregnated by a beautiful Ginnylands Red Arrow called Rex. Rex is a brown-and-white dog who trains obedience with his handler Marnix Van Den Steen and is very dexterous. He is one of the best in his discipline in Belgium. Rex is very pleasing, patient and friendly and likes to work. His numerous offspring are also very successful: one of his sons (blue-merle dog, see picture below) is one of the best in obedience in Belgium.

Rex (Ginnylands Red Arrow) is completely unrelated to border collies bred in the Czech Republic. The aim of the impregnation is to import new blood and to diversify the breeding of border collies in the Czech Republic. We expect the puppies to be beautifully coloured.

The pictures below were taken in a dog school near Ghent to which we were invited by our kind hosts. We could watch very interesting high-level obedience training. Two of Rex's offspring also participated in the training.
